Sunday School – Adult Bible Fellowship
Our Adult Sunday School is an in-depth Bible study that mainly follows Regular Baptist Press Adult Bible Study materials. Our aim is to build up those present in the manner described in Ephesians 4:11-16. Discussion of the background and meaning of the Bible text covered in each lesson is part of our learning experience. We meet at 9:30 AM.
Sunday School for Kids
Each week our teachers and helpers lovingly show children and adults how God designed us, loves us, and how He wants us to live. Children two years old through twelve grade have a balance of teaching and activities that help them learn God's will for their lives. The curriculum for seventh grade and above is focused on systematic theology and apologetics. We meet at 9:30 AM.
Awana (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed – 2 Timothy 2:15) is an international, Bible-centered youth ministry. From ages 3 to high school, AWANA programs systematically train kids to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ.
AWANA clubs use age-appropriate games and activities, bible memorization, handbooks and rewards to teach the children. You will find an overview of AWANA ministries, and description of club programs on their website along with information on what they believe. Please take the time to read their message.
The Grace Baptist Church AWANA program for Kindergarten through 6th grade children starts at 6:30 PM on Wednesday evenings.
Our youth fellowship exists (7th-12th grade) to adore God, build companionship, spiritually strengthen its members, serve others, and share the gospel with other teens. Join us on Sunday evenings from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM at the church building on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.
Men of Grace provides opportunities for the men of our church to fellowship in a small group setting. There is relevant teaching that shows men how to be an effective witness for Jesus Christ and to share our experiences with others seeking to know Jesus. This is a wonderful time of fellowship and encouragement for men as we seek to "sharpen one another" for the glory of God. We meet as scheduled on the calendar.
Women of Grace is open to any adult woman who seeks to know Christ and to find God's purpose for her life. The Bible is our foundation. You do not have to be a church member to belong to Women of Grace. The women meet at the church building each week on Tuesday evenings for Bible Study and prayer from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. The book studies mainly follow Regular Baptist Press materials.
We sing both traditional and contemporary songs during our services to the sound of various instruments. It is most important that the lyrics we sing tell us the truth about God. We also have a "song of the month" that helps us focus on the Scriptures.
The aim of the library ministry is to provide literature and media resources that will aid individuals in developing skills and values necessary for spiritual and intellectual growth in the church, school, home, and community. We provide a variety of resources and information from Christian perspectives.
The library is now located on the top floor next to the Adult Sunday School room. This is currently a "pass it on" library, serving as a place to share books with others by donation.
Our radio ministry "Abounding Grace" can be heard every Saturday morning in Worcester/Springfield at 8:00am on 760AM, 101.5FM. It can also be heard in Boston on 1090AM WILD.
