V. THE COMMAND

a. They need to wake up

b. They need to strengthen

Ephesians 5:18 (NASB) And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit,

c. They need to remember

d. They need to keep

e. They need to repent

VI. THE COMMENDATION

a. The dedicated are virtuous

Isaiah 64:6 For all of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment;

Jude 1:23 (NASB) hating even the garment polluted by the flesh.

Revelation 19:8 (NASB) It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

b. The dedicated are rewarded

1. They will receive white garments

2. They will have eternal life

Exodus 32:33 (NASB) The Lord said to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book.

3. They will be owned before God

Hebrews 1:4 having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they.

Matthew 10:32 Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven.
