The Consequences of an Uncompromising Life (Daniel 1:8-21)

The Consequences of an Uncompromising Life – Daniel 1:8-21

I. THEY HAVE AN UNASHAMED BOLDNESS

1 Peter 4:15-16 (NASB) 15 Make sure that none of you suffers as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or a troublesome meddler; 16 but if anyone suffers as a Christian, he is not to be ashamed, but is to glorify God in this name.

II. THEY HAVE AN UNCOMMON STANDARD

“The people God uses the most are the odd-bods. So, you shouldn’t be surprised if you run into some odd-bods. In fact, everybody I’ve ever known specially used of God was an odd bod.” – Willy Still.

III. THEY HAD DIVINE PROTECTION

IV. THEY HAD A STRONG DETERMINATION

V. THEY HAD A HONORED DECISION

1 Samuel 2:30 for those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me will be lightly esteemed.

Isaiah 45:1 Thus says the LORD to Cyrus His anointed, Whom I have taken by the right hand, To subdue nations before him And to loose the loins of kings; To open doors before him so that gates will not be shut:

“Dare to be a Daniel

Dare to stand alone

Dare to have a purpose firm

Dare to make it known”
