III. THE THIRD PREACHING ANGEL

a. God’s wrath is personal

Matthew 10:28 (NASB) “Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Psalms 75:8 (NASB) For a cup is in the hand of the Lord, and the wine foams; It is well mixed, and He pours out of this; Surely all the wicked of the earth must drain and drink down its dregs.

Isaiah 51:17 (NASB) Rouse yourself! Rouse yourself! Arise, O Jerusalem, You who have drunk from the Lord’s hand the cup of His anger; The chalice of reeling you have drained to the dregs.

Jeremiah 25:15 (NASB) For thus the Lord, the God of Israel, says to me, “Take this cup of the wine of wrath from My hand and cause all the nations to whom I send you to drink it.

Jeremiah 25:16 (NASB) “They will drink and stagger and go mad because of the sword that I will send among them.”

Jeremiah 51:7 (NASB) Babylon has been a golden cup in the hand of the Lord, Intoxicating all the earth. The nations have drunk of her wine; Therefore the nations are going mad.

b. God’s wrath is painful

Luke 16:23 (NASB) “In Hades he lifted up his eyes, being in torment

2 Thessalonians 1:9 (NASB) These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,

c. God’s wrath is forever

Mark 9:48 (NASB) where Their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.

Matthew 25:41 (NASB) “Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels;

Matthew 13:42 (NASB) and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

2 Corinthians 6:2 Behold, now is “THE ACCEPTABLE TIME,” behold, now is “THE DAY OF SALVATION”
