2 Chronicles 26:16 (NASB) 16 But when he became strong, his heart was so proud that he acted corruptly, and he was unfaithful to the Lord his God, for he entered the temple of the Lord to burn incense on the altar of incense.

2 Chronicles 26:19 (NASB) 19 But Uzziah, with a censer in his hand for burning incense, was enraged; and while he was enraged with the priests, the leprosy broke out on his forehead before the priests in the house of the Lord, beside the altar of incense.

I. TO BE USED BY GOD WE NEED TO HAVE THE SAME VISION AS ISAIAH

a. He saw God’s position

b. He saw God’s personality

1 Corinthians 10:31 (NASB) 31 Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

c. He saw God’s presence

II. TO BE USED BY GOD WE NEED TO HAVE THE SAME AWARENESS AS ISAIAH

a. He was aware of his own condition

b. He was aware of his need for cleansing

III. TO BE USED BY GOD WE NEED TO HAVE THE SAME ACTION OF ISAIAH

a. We need to be available

Romans 12:1-2 (NASB) 1 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
