Grace Baptist Church Library

The aim of the library ministry is to provide literature and media resources that will aid individuals in developing skills, and values necessary for spiritual and intellectual growth in the church, school, home, and in the community. We provide a variety of resources and information, from trusted Christian perspectives, that promote and foster spiritual growth. It is our hope that these materials provide God-glorifying alternatives to secular information and entertainment.

The library is located in the foyer at the back of the sanctuary. This is a “pass it on” library, serving as a place to share books with others by donation, and to be encouraged by a book that interests you or speaks to a question or circumstance in your life. Books that you will find there include:

  • Bibles of many translations (even a new leather-bound Scofield study Bible)
  • Bible dictionaries and studies
  • Ministry helps for small group studies
  • Biographies of men and women of faith like Hudson Taylor or Billy Graham
  • Encouragement for family life from Dr. Dobson
  • Many devotionals
  • Some children’s Bible stories in the family section
  • A few books in Spanish
  • Books on missions and from Voice of the Martyrs
  • Historical fiction and other encouraging books
  • Prophecy and end times
  • Audio and music CDs and some DVDs
